I have mixed feelings about Autumn. On one hand, summer is over and the temperature is starting to drop, the evenings are starting to slowly get shorter and drinking cocktails in the evening sun will soon be nothing but a distant memory. On the other hand, Autumn means getting to slowly bring back layers, sip on hot chocolate (maybe with a splash of Bailey’s) and just general cosy vibes. Change can be a good thing. It keeps life interesting.
We’ve had a hotter-than-usual summer in the UK this year, after what felt like the longest winter in history. I feel like it makes that transition into A/W style this little bit harder. It’s time to accept the love-hate relationship with my summer wardrobe is almost over. So naturally, as with any other relationship, the best way to get over the break up is with a rebound* – which, in this case, comes in the form of an ASOS haul!
I told you, change can be a good thing. Especially when that change creates an excuse to buy new clothes.
*do not quote me on that – there’s a reason that relationship advice isn’t a common theme on my blog.
